What? Physical humor is funny

This morning we’re going over K——‘s schoolwork and he’s describing his speech & drama in-class assignment. They were saying ‘Oh, hello’ as various characters. K——‘s character was a secret agent.

Super secret agent, he corrects

He describes how he rolled on the floor and hit his head on his partner’s foot, and when I looked at him blankly he said, ‘What? Physical humor is funny!’

Now I was waiting for him to continue to the part where he said ‘hello’, but his timing was just hilarious. Unlike the timing of this post as I’m sure you’re reading this and still waiting for the punchline.
