Sunshine and Puppies

When it rains, it pours. You find shelter where you can. Sometimes you imagine the clouds aren’t as black as they were and you see a bit of sunshine peeking through. The rain lightens for a time and you grab the respite and try not to think about the blackness looming on the horizon. A cute little puppy comes to play and you think you can see the beginning of a rainbow…
Then the clouds cover again and the deluge begins anew, adding in some hail this time.
Sunshine and puppies are wonderful things, but not really effective when you are soaking wet.
What I need is an umbrella and a towel.
