Star Trek - you'll want to see it.

You may walk out of the theatre thinking it was just a great movie, or you may walk out and spend the next two hours at a pancake house of your choice trying to resolve the events back into Canon so Lieutenant Tuvok is still all scrumptious in the Delta Quadrant, but in either case or all between, you should see this film. You will love it.

I’m sure others will disagree with me, but I have to throw a cheer out to Karl Urban. He was not DeForest Kelley but he was so unmistakably Doctor McCoy. He was an absolute joy to watch and I found it very easy to believe that his blend of anger and urgency would mellow into the grumpy Doc I remember.

Well played, Mr. Urban. I’ll be imdb’ing you to see what else is out there.
