I enjoy watching old shows I loved when I was younger and noticing actors known today in other roles.
I know…they’re actors and it’s not unusual to see RL crossovers-that’s how they earn their keep after all; I just love noticing actors now that I didn’t notice way back then-it brings a new appreciation to the show.
I’ve been watching episodes of Forever Knight and a few I’ve noticed so far:
- David Hewlett (Stargate Atlantis’ Rodney McKay) as Matthew Reed in S1E10 ‘Dead Air’
- Torri Higginson (SGA again, Dr. Elizabeth Weir) was Erica in S1E04 ‘Last Act’
- Patrick McKenna, the nerdy nephew of Red Green was the rather sleezy manager of a strip club.
- Callum Keith Rennie (Due South’s Stanley Kowalski [Ray #2] and Leoben Conoy from BSG) was Bruce Spencer, a messed-up undercover cop in S3E03 ‘Outside the Lines’.
Oh dear. Poor Rodney Matthew just got electrocuted.
