F/OSS Contributions

What is F/OSS?

F/OSS stands for Free and/or Open Source Software, software which is liberally licensed.

I believe it encourages folks to use, study, learn and improve the product. Some argue that it just encourages use, and whining when something doesn’t work ;) That is true in some cases, but I’ve found even of those that just ‘use’, many truly appreciate it when a contribution helps them do something they aren’t able to do themselves.

I also believe if you have the ability, and you use F/OSS products, then you need to give back to the community. The contributions lists below are my humble attempts.

Unobtrusive Javascript, Perls of Wisdom, and Pretty Hip Preprocessors

Some are add-ons for well-loved software such as Zen Cart, TextPattern, or Menalto’s Gallery. Others are independent scripts or programs of my own design.

Contributions listed here are available under the GPL unless otherwise doing so would conflict with the license of the parent program the contribution was created for (if any), in which case they take on the parent license. If you find them useful, please let me know, and contact me with any bugs, ideas, or features you would like to see.
